Project Manager - Architext Division - Andover, MA

The project manager serves as the primary point of contact for all project related issues and is therefore responsible for responding to all client requests and ensuring their fulfillment from the cost estimate and proposal stage, from the production process through final delivery. The senior project manager oversees a team of project managers and serves as the liaison between Translations.com's internal resources and client contacts.

• Responsibilities include:
• Manage large multilingual projects from beginning to end including budget, negotiating with freelance translators and proofreaders, ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded, and signing-off on completed projects
• Act as the main point of contact for key accounts
• Manage internal and remote teams
• Provide quotations to existing customers
• Ensure that profitability is achieved with guidance from the Managing Director
• Establish relationships with customers to achieve a repeat business pipeline
• Implement and manage technical processes to maximize project efficiency
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
• Provide forecast information to the organization
• Skills and Experience:
• Proven track record of managing people and completing projects on time and within budget
• Demonstrated localization experience
• Demonstrable experience in Project management processes
• High level of organizational skills and methodical approach essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical Skills:
• 2-3 years experience in Localization Desktop Publishing and Software Engineering
• Knowledge of any of the following would be an advantage; Trados, Déjà vu, Catalyst, MS Project, FileMaker
• Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
