Language Transliterator: English to Italian - New York

The position of Transliterator is a key player at Translations.com. This position reports to the Department Manager. Your particular language skill will allow you to finalize all the end product before it goes to the client. This is a unique opportunity in a financially stable international communications services company. Translations.com's services include: translation, interpreting, voice-overs, subtitling, and cultural marketing campaigns.

• Responsibilities include:
• Translate or summarize technical documents, or review translations, primarily dealing with scientific and pharmaceutical materials from Eng. to Italian
• Organize translated materials according to company standards re: grammar, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Qualifications include:
• 1 yr. experience and fluency in Italian
• MS (or equivalent) in Chemistry/Physics Required
