BOSTON - (BusinessWire) – PRISYM ID, a leading provider of turnkey labeling solutions for the medical device and life sciences industries, and TransPerfect, the world's largest privately held supplier of language services and content management technologies, today announced that they have signed a definitive agreement to deliver end-to-end, validated, multi-language labeling solutions under TransPerfect’s new service line, EnCompass® Content Solutions for Medical Device Makers.
As part of the new EnCompass solutions set, PRISYM ID will develop an interface between the PRISYM 360 label lifecycle solution and TransPerfect’s GlobalLink® translation productivity system. Also under the EnCompass banner, the two companies will develop an interface for the XML publishing systems offered by TransPerfect’s Vasont Systems and Astoria Software divisions, which are leading providers of component content management solutions.
The integrated solution is designed to bridge the costly “automation gap” between source/translated labeling content and device labeling systems by delivering the first fully automated solution for multi-language labeling. The validated systems will provide version control and approval functionality for all language data uploads to eliminate errors in this typically complex and time consuming process.
