ALCHEMY PRESIDENT TONY O'DOWD APPOINTED TO THE LOCALISATION RESEARCH CENTRE ADVISORY BOARD

NEW YORK, and DUBLIN, February 3, 2009 – Alchemy Software Development, a division of Translations.com, today announced that company president Tony O'Dowd has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Localisation Research Centre (LRC).

The LRC is also a participating college in the Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL). O'Dowd has served in an advisory roll on the CNGL's Executive Board since last November.

The LRC was established in 1995 as the Localisation Resources Centre at University College Dublin (UCD) and moved to the University of Limerick (UL) in 1999 where it was reconstituted as the Localisation Research Centre (LRC) as the information, research and educational centre for the localisation industry.
