Vasont Systems and Dr. JoAnn Hackos Offer Tips on Presenting a Content Management Strategy to an Organization's Internal Audience in Upcoming DCL Learning Series Webinar

Top industry consultant teams up with Vasont Systems to discuss how to develop and maintain support for a content management system within an organization

EMIGSVILLE, PA, June 2, 2014 - On June 11 at 1:00 pm Eastern time, Data Conversion Laboratory will host a webinar featuring guest speakers Dr. JoAnn Hackos of Comtech Services and Suzanne Mescan of Vasont Systems. In their presentation, "Sprinkle the Pixie Dust": How to Sell Your Content Management Initiative Internally, they will discuss how to drum up support for a content management initiative with co-workers and management. Registration is free and open to the public at https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/816871390.

Technical communications managers may recognize that the organization’s content development and publishing processes are in need of an overhaul, but getting a content management strategy approved and funded by the management team can be a tough job. This webinar will explain how to “sprinkle the pixie dust” around an organization to move a content management strategy forward and explain how to:

  • Find a champion for the cause
  • Navigate through the approval process in an organization
  • Align a content strategy with an organization’s goals
  • Develop a proposal for a content management strategy
  • Build the estimated return on investment for your proposal
