Detailed Project Plan
It has been our experience that translation and localization is sometimes seen as a black box, without visibility of the various tasks that make up a successful localization project, as well as the outside factors that can have an affect on the successful completion of those tasks.
In an attempt to operate with complete transparency to our clients, Translations.com Project Managers are strong believers in providing visibility on real-time project status to all relevant parties. To achieve this, at the start of an engagement we work to develop a detailed Project Plan.
In that plan we identify all localization/translation-related tasks. We also identify their estimated durations and, most importantly, any and all dependencies. We then capture that information in a detailed Project Plan, which we provide to our clients with the intention that they would incorporate these tasks into their overall project plan and provide visibility and transparency to all relevant stakeholders.
