TransPerfect has won the patent infringement case against MotionPoint, with the jury ascertaining that the website translation patent held by TransPerfect is valid. The jury established that MotionPoint had infringed the patent after a three-week trial of the case.

TransPerfect emerged as the perfect winner in the case where MotionPoint slapped the infringement case on TransPerfect in 2009 for three of its asserted patents.OneLink (News – Alert), the patented software for language translation from TransPerfect was the object of the litigation filed by MotionPoint. OneLink is the preferred solution for website owners who wish to outsource their language translation requirements.

In a release, Mr. Phil Shawe of TransPerfect said, “We are grateful for the jury's service and pleased that they reached a conclusion that supports our long-held beliefs.
