2nd Acquisition of 2002 Reflects Consolidation Trend in Language Services Industry
NEW YORK, New York, July 30, 2002 — Translations.com, inc., a leader in software localization, website globalization, enterprise language solutions, and educational publishing translations, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the localization services division of Convey Software (formerly eTranslate), headquartered in San Francisco, California. The transaction, a combination of cash and future considerations, joins two leaders in the localization services industry and significantly expands Translations.com's West Coast operations. The deal follows on Translations.com's acquisition of Language for Industry earlier this year.
