Martha Ferro Geller joins Translations.com with a successful track record in the field of multicultural communications that spans more than 20 years. Geller's experience includes overseeing such high-profile projects as L.L. Bean's expansion into Japan, the launch of Nike's Olympic Games website in 23 languages and Charles Schwab's corporate identity program for Chinese markets.
Geller will report directly to Phil Shawe, Translations.com's President and CEO, and will spearhead strategic account initiatives for the firm. She will lead a business development team based in the firm's San Francisco offices.
Joe Mahaffey joins the Translations.com sales team on the opposite coast and will lead the newly established Charlotte, North Carolina office. From there, he will direct strategic account sales in the Southeast region of the United States. With more than 15 years' experience in enterprise technology solutions, Mahaffey's most recent position was with Bowne Global Solutions, a Translations.com competitor.
