With its sights set on hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics, Chicago recognized that multilingual communication would be crucial to presenting itself as a world-class metropolis and international tourism destination. Translation of the ExploreChicago.org site into French and Spanish will start this month, with the multilingual sites scheduled to launch in spring 2009. To streamline the process, Chicago's Office of Tourism will employ Translations.com's proprietary GlobalLink OneLink technology.
